Check out this Video!
The confluence of these two rivers in Vernon, just off Route 83, across from its junction with Welles Road. George Arthur, Malcolm, and I are on a bridge near the Golf Land/Go Kart area (Talcottville). We parked in the large parking lot to the right, and walked east across the parking lot to the grassy area where there’s a pedestrian bridge. We spent several hours exploring the Hockanum, including several hiking trails and parks. More information about the Hockanum watershed at www.hockanumriverwa.org MVI 1211
